I could easily see myself in an F150 if this gen in the future. I’d want a cap like this one, the XLT with the sport package (color match), b lue paint, tow mirrors, the FX4 package and either the 2.7 or the 5.0

I’ll be more than happy with a much smaller estate car.

Hopefully it’s quieter and better riding than my boss’s truck.

That thing has squeaks and rattles inside EVERYWHERE, I’ve never driven something that seems as cheap inside as his truck and it’s a god-damn Platinum!

Ride is terrible at best, it made our 04 F250 feel like a Cadillac.

I did a little review on his when I had it:  https://oppositelock.kinja.com/quick-review-bosss-truck-1831603884

There will come a time in my life when I need a truck more than I want a sporty sedan or hatch, but thankfully I’m not their yet. I’ve already out grown daily driving a coupe or small hatch, that’s bad enough

have a 2.7L 2018 F150 XLT crew cab... thing moves and it gets pretty good fuel economy.

Nice! My dad used to have a 2017 with the crew cab and 2.7 and I liked it. It got good economy for a truck.  The engine felt like enough and it was comfy for me at 6’3”

I have a 2013 XLT V8. It's been a great truck for us. Hauls the kids, goes camping and is great for house projects. Plus I love the V8 sound when I get on the loud pedal

You, sir, have good taste!

Kinja'd!!!

3.5 turbo, heavy duty towing package. It’s been a great truck, and tows the 8500 lbs I need it to without any drama. The only things  I would change is to lose the sunroof and big wheels.

I had an 01 Expedition in high school and loved it. So I’m thinking I’d like the newer F150. Plus the aluminum body is a huge plus in Michigan where everything rusts out

Thank you that’s a beautiful truck and color! I’d love the 3.5 but they are hard to find. I’d also skip the sunroof and like the smaller wheels although yours still looks really nice with them!

I LOVE my 2015 F150 with the 2.7L Ecoboost. It’s honestly one of the best vehicles I’ve ever owned and I’ve owned some good ones. Performance, comfort,  utility, residual value, it’s all there.

As mentioned, this thing can scoot. In fact t he F150 with 2.7L Ecoboost was recently tested by a major magazine doing   0 -60 in 5.7 seconds! Which is sporty car territory.

My XLT supercab has a 6.5ft bed, but can still seat 6 people if needed, been very reliable and I get about 22.5 mpg on my mixed driving. My VW CC 2.0T only gets about 25.5 mpg on the same route.

I like the look of the wheels, but tires are costly and I somehow cracked a wheel two years ago...and yowza the wheels are pricy. Oh well, the cracked  wheel is on a shelf in the garage, destined for life as a wall clock, i think.

You have good taste. I very, very much like mine. The 2.7 is a deeply impressive motor. It tows the 6500lbs boat in a way that only my former 02 F250 with a 7.3 powerstoke did when it comes to fuel economy and hill climbing performance .

That mileage would be pretty good for me. My 2011 Camry 4 cylinder gets 27.5 usually so it would be a hit but not catastrophic and pretty great for something so big. Ideally I’d get the crew cab with the longer bed.

These are the wheels it would ideally have

Kinja'd!!!

I love the two tone look of them and how I still get a lot of sidewall.

Very nice truck! I like the regular cab but move people a lot. I love that yours has a cap too! I was impressed with the 2.7 my dad had in his f150 lease. I never towed with it but it was more than enough driving the truck around. It’s great to hear it’s good for towing too!

I’ve owned a lot of trucks over the years, and all have had either a cap or cover of some kind. Open truck beds are pretty useless to me 99% of the time . I need a space where things don’t fly out at 80mph, don’t get we when it rains and are at least slightly less likely to grow legs and walk away in a hotel parking lot overnight.

The crew cab (Supercrew) with the 6.5ft bed is long, almost the length of a super duty.

They are also kinda rare as well . Both the Supercab and Supercrew are the exact same length, only difference is a foot of either cab or bed space, depending on which  you prefer to have and give up.
